Smell & Tell game

Covid-19 affected many individuals’ mental health in particular, the elderly living in care homes, who were isolated to safeguard them against the virus. To help improve their emotional wellbeing and foster socialisation, volunteers from fragrance company and supported by the Givaudan Foundation, created a mood-boosting board game called ‘Smell & Tell’. Designed for use in residential care homes the game uses familiar fragrances – such as coffee, pine and chocolate - to evoke memories and spark conversations of those taking part. Created by Culture Communications Collective for the IFRA UK Fragrance Forum 2023 the film was shot at a residential care home in West Sussex.
