Dynamic Collections – Pitt Rivers Museum

Video to support the Heritage Fund's Dynamic Collections – a campaign aimed at collecting organisations such as museums, libraries, archives and other organisations – across the UK. The Heritage Fund wanted to support them to become more inclusive and resilient, with a focus on engagement, re-interpretation and collections management. This case study film looks at Beyond the Binary at Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford, which is an exemplar of the kind of collections project they wanted others to emulate. This project put LGBTQ+ stories told by LGBTQ+ people at the heart of the museum – from public galleries to digital databases.
