A Lasting Difference
Heritage Lottery Fund

To convey the story of the positive impact of the HLF on heritage and communities, Hunter Gatherer undertook a 7-day location shoot to cover 14 HLF-funded projects around the UK, travelling 1,700 miles, capturing 71 interviews and shooting 650GB of HD footage. At the time of production HLF had funded 33,000 projects and had awarded £5 billion. Our fast-moving, three person crew visited just some of these, taking in SS Great Britain, Bristol; Brimingham Museum; Riverside Museum, Glasgow; Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester; World Heritage Site, Blaenavon; Myatt's Field Park, London; Abbott's Hall Farm, Suffolk; The Waterways Trust, Ellemere Port; Positive Action Training, Liverpool; St Paul's Old Ford Church, London' Townscape Heritage Initiative, Bo'ness; and the Florence Institure, Liverpool. We were able to shoot enough material at each location to create additiional full-length films for each project.
